Privacy Policy

DomeFab is built to need as little of your data as possible. There are no accounts and no logins. This page explains what is and isn't collected.
What we collect
Almost nothing directly. You can design a dome without giving us any personal information. Your design is stored in your own browser (in the page URL and local storage) so you can return to it, it isn't sent to us for storage.
When you buy a plan set, payment is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your name, email, card, and billing address as our payment processor; we never see or store your card number. See Stripe's privacy policy. After payment, a signed “unlock” token is stored in your browser so your downloads work; it contains no personal data.
Delivery & fraud records. When a plan or file is downloaded, we log a timestamp, the download type, the requesting IP address, and a one-way hash of the unlock token. We keep this to deliver your files, prevent abuse, and respond to payment disputes. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
Location lookup. If you use the “town or postal code” snow/wind lookup, your search term and the resulting coordinates are sent to third-party services (Open-Meteo for climate data and OpenStreetMap Nominatim for geocoding) to fetch the estimate. Don't enter anything there you wouldn't want sent to those services.
Analytics & cookies
We don't run advertising or third-party analytics trackers. The only browser storage we use is functional: your current design and, if you've purchased, your unlock token.
Service providers
We rely on a few infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (website hosting, CDN, and email routing), Google Cloud (the API that generates your plans), and Stripe(payments). Traffic to the site passes through Cloudflare's network.
Your choices
Because we hold so little, there isn't much to access or delete , but if you have a question about your data, or want your purchase email or fraud-log records removed where we're able, email [email protected]. For payment data held by Stripe, contact us and we'll help, or reach Stripe directly.
